The Chinese Committee for Biomaterials (CCBM) and theEuropean Society for Biomaterials(ESB) are pleased to announce a joint symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine to be held during April 3-7, 2006 in the "Garden City", Suzhou, near to Shanghai.
　

 The symposium will have invited lectures, oral presentations (12 min for report plus 8 min for discussion) and poster presentation, which will cover relevant aspects of biomaterials development and application to Regenerative Medicine with special emphasis on Tissue Engineering. Topics include scaffolds and matrices, as well as biomaterials for drug and gene delivery. It is hoped that materials scientists involved in developing such biomaterials as well as life scientists working in various aspects of their application will support this symposium. Applications of such biomaterials include in vitro investigations as well as in vivo studies and clinical trial experience.
