Majored in Solid State Physics in Sichuan University as an undergraduate student from 1951-1956, and since then worked as Vice-director of Solid State Physics Laboratory, Directors of Analytical & Testing Center, Institute of Materials Science & Technology, Engineering Research Center in Biomaterials in Sichuan University successively. Been engaged in the studies of Super-hard materials from 1973 to 1986 and in the research of Biomaterials Since 1983. The main achievements in scientific research are as following:
